This claims that Tether established two funds, one of $106 million for an investment pool and the other of $3 million to promote the use of cryptocurrencies in Lugano city shops and other commercial enterprises.

The initiative will also allow Lugano residents to pay parking fines, municipal services, and student tuition expenses using cryptocurrency. Also, it is anticipated that over 200 local stores and enterprises will accept cryptocurrency payments for goods and services.
